Sam Brindle
“I believe thorough research and a healthy dose of scepticism must form the basis of all investment decisions – combing through strategies across all corners of the market and assessing performance across market cycles to identify truly exceptional managers.”
Sam has spent more than 20 years working in global markets, helping clients build resilient portfolios by identifying skilled fund managers. His career has taken him across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, where he’s had the opportunity to gain experience during different market cycles, including navigating the financial crisis as part of State Street Global Advisors’ credit team, helping to manage a $100bn securitised portfolio.
During his career, he’s gained experience in credit risk management at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), equity research at XCAP Securities in London, and investment manager due diligence at Pitcher Partners in Melbourne. These roles have given him a practical perspective on balancing opportunity with risk, which he now applies to help Saxe Coburg’s clients make informed decisions.
Sam believes in keeping things simple, translating complex strategies into clear insights, and values the trust clients place in him.
When he’s not working, he enjoys time with his family, running, and catching up on podcasts and books.
